Seven years ago, I profiled an astronomer who thinks the Star of Bethlehem was Jupiter. He makes a fascinating and plausible case–one that is anything but an attack on the original story, by the way.

While we’re on the subject of Christmas, here’s a piece I called “Christmiscellany,” which is a grab-bag of information about the holiday.

  • Just recently there was a great TV piece on the Star of Bethlehem on one of the Nat Geo channels. Hope you caught it.

May I use your star of Bethlehem photo with the sheep in the foreground as a December calendar photo in a free newsletter I publish for the mobile home park I live in?

I usually make 90 to 100 copies of the newsletter.

I await your reply. I will not use it without your permission.

    Thank you
