The bicentennial year of Edgar Allan Poe ends on January 19–i.e., his 201st birthday. Last year, as the bicentennial year was getting underway, I wrote about Poe’s legacy for the Wall Street Journal. Around the same time, the Miller family visited the Poe Museum in Richmond, Va., and I bought a Gold Bug t-shirt (scroll down).

You know, I honestly can’t decide if I love that logo or hate it?
In any case, the shirt would be worth buying, if only to see the looks one gets when one wears it in the supermarket.
