Books for Soldiers, a non-profit organization, has shipped 64 copies of The First Assassin to U.S. soldiers overseas, thanks to the generosity of readers like you. Over the weekend, two thank-you e-mails arrived:

Mr Miller, As a soldier serving in Afghanistan I want to thank you for your donation of your book, “The First Assassin”. I look forward to reading it and will pass it on to my peers. The donation and kind act makes soldiers like myself feel greatly supported. Reading is a great way to take the mind to a different place. I will be in Afghanistan for some time and your kindness makes me feel connected to the good ole USA. Again, thank you.

I do not have much time to write however, I wanted to say thank you. I am an Airman who is currently deployed to Iraq. I received a package from BooksForSoldiers which contained your novel, The First Assassin. I appreciate your generous donation.
