Welcome to the eighth stop of the book tour.

This is a statue of Lincoln at Judiciary Square, an area of federal and city court buildings in Washington, D.C. It stands before the D.C. courthouse. This is a stern-looking Lincoln. Sculpted in 1868, it’s supposedly the first public monument erected to the slain president.
