If you suspect that there are too many lawyers, Walter Olson is your guy. He is the author of several excellent critiques of the legal profession, including The Litigation Explosion and The Excuse Factory, as well as the impresario of Best of all, he isn’t even a lawyer himself–so it’s not like he’s adding to their numbers.

His new book is Schools for Misrule: Legal Academia and an Overlawyered America–and it has created the occasion for making him this week’s podcast victim.
