I thought about reviewing Coolidge, the new biography of Calvin Coolidge by Amity Shlaes, but decided that I’d more or less said my piece on Cool Cal a while ago, on the pages of Reason. Amity’s book is probably the new standard in the field, and she was my NRO podcast victim a few weeks ago.
